An SSI dive centre
in Chaloklum, Koh Phangan
We opened in January 2024 with a clear idea: safe diving, small groups, and a relaxed atmosphere. Our SSI instructors have more than ten years leading dives in Egypt, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand — and that standard now lives here, aboard our own boat.

Max 20 on board
Small groups
Most boats depart with 30+ divers. We limit ourselves to 20. Fewer people means a more attentive instructor, equipment assembled at a relaxed pace, and more space on deck between dives.
9:30 from Chaloklum
A later departure
Our 9:30 departure takes you to Sail Rock and Koh Ma when other boats are already heading back. You get dive sites with fewer people on them and better visibility.
Conditions permitting
Multi-site days
For certified divers we visit several sites around Koh Phangan in a single day. Sail Rock and the oil platform are the favourites. More marine life, less time travelling.

The centre opened in 2024, but the team behind it has more than a decade underwater. We have worked in some of the world's best dive destinations and we apply the same standard here: clear briefings, dive sites chosen by the tide, and realistic plans rather than textbook ones.
We teach in English, Spanish and French, with Italian and German on board for much of the season and Russian on some dates. Our backgrounds are in Egypt, the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia. That global perspective is mostly useful for one thing: explaining marine life, currents and technique in a way that makes sense to someone who has never worn a mask.

As a 2024 centre, all of our equipment is new — and it is checked every single day. Regulators, BCDs and wetsuits come in XS to XXL, with official SSI servicing from day one. Turn up with a swimsuit; we have the rest in your size.

Boris Collado
A dive professional since 2015 — he started as a divemaster and loved it — and an SSI instructor since 2022, with more than 5,000 dives behind him. Boris leads the instructors and divemasters, so each trip is safe, fun and tailored to your level.

We are part of The Diver's Boat. The main base has been in Koh Tao since 2015, and the Koh Phangan centre has been running from Chaloklum since January 2024, managed day to day by Boris and Rui — more than 400 divers certified so far. Two islands, the same owner and the same standard, and one of the best pinnacle dives in Southeast Asia in between them.
